What issue do you have?
When switchin from RTE to MD the editor remain in RTE mode. See attachments.
This happened after updating to 2.13.13.
Is there a way to restore MD?
Please note I have another pc desktop with same Joplin version but it works as expected.

From the screenshot, it looks like the markdown preview pane has been maximized. As such, the markdown/rich text button is switching between the rich text editor and the markdown preview pane.
To show the markdown editor, try clicking on this button:
