# Ability to delete alle notes at once

If one has lots of notes-directories and wants to delete them all it's only possible to just delete one by one which is inefficient. If one could mark them all e.g. by STRG+A and delete them in one go would be a good feature.

There are some plugins for clearing data in Joplin. One is called [Victor](https://joplinapp.org/plugins/plugin/org.joplinapp.plugins.Victor/), which allows you to clear all your data (all notes) with one click:. There are also two others for deleting notes: [Joplin Plugins - Delete folder & notes](https://joplinapp.org/plugins/plugin/albert.joplin.plugin.jl7/) and [Joplin Plugins - Delete notes without confirmation](https://joplinapp.org/plugins/plugin/albert.joplin.plugin7/)  
I haven't used them myself, but I understand they might address what you're looking for.
